Hedsor House Wedding Photography
Updated: 07/03/2026
If you’re planning a wedding at Hedsor House, you’ve chosen a venue that really does have it all. From the sweeping driveway and grand Georgian architecture to the light-filled interiors and beautiful gardens, it’s one of those places that makes photographing a wedding feel effortless.
As a wedding photographer, venues like Hedsor House are a dream to work at. There’s space, great natural light, and loads of options for portraits without ever needing to wander too far from the celebrations.
A Venue That Photographs Beautifully
One of the best things about Hedsor House is how well everything flows throughout the day.
Morning preparations usually take place in the stunning bridal suite, which has plenty of natural light and room for everyone to relax. It’s perfect for those quieter moments before the day really gets going, getting ready with your closest people, final touches, and that moment when everything suddenly feels real.
The ceremony often takes place in the Centre Hall, which is one of the most iconic spaces in the house. The natural light pouring through the tall windows, combined with the symmetry of the room, makes for a really elegant setting without feeling overly formal.
The Grounds at Hedsor House
Step outside and you’re surrounded by acres of private grounds. This gives us plenty of space for relaxed couple portraits without taking you away from your guests for long.
I’m always conscious that couples want to enjoy their wedding, not spend hours posing for photos. At Hedsor House, we can step out for ten minutes, take advantage of the gardens or the front of the house, and create some really beautiful images before heading straight back to the party.
Later in the day, the front of the house during golden hour can be particularly special. The light softens, the atmosphere changes slightly, and it’s often one of my favourite moments to grab a few final portraits.
A Relaxed Approach to Wedding Photography
My approach to photographing weddings is very relaxed and natural. Most of the day is simply about capturing moments as they happen, the laughs, the hugs, the chaos on the dance floor, and all the little interactions that make your wedding yours.
You won’t find me staging lots of moments or pulling people away constantly for photos. Instead, I focus on documenting the day as it unfolds, with just a short amount of time set aside for couple portraits and any group photos you’d like.
This works particularly well at Hedsor House because everything is already so visually strong. The venue does a lot of the heavy lifting.
Film & Digital Coverage
Many couples who get married at Hedsor House also choose to include 35mm film alongside digital coverage.
Film has a slightly different feel, softer colours, a bit of grain, and a timeless quality that works beautifully with a venue like this. It’s not about replacing digital photography, but complementing it.
If you’re interested in including film as part of your coverage, it’s something we can easily add to your package.
